If you’re like most Americans, or citizens of the world, you don’t have a bunch of money lying around to pay for additional childcare. Whether you work full time or you left your job to take care of the kids, chances are you don’t often pay for additional childcare because it’s just too expensive.
If you are able to afford a babysitter even a few hours a week so that you can get some time to work on the things that are meaningful to you, then that’s awesome! However, whether you’re a one or two income family, paying for childcare is just not a reality for a lot of families out there.
I know that you don’t want to feel like you’re pawning your kids off on someone else. However, remember that even if it’s once in a while, it’s incredibly important for you to get the time you need to feel fulfilled.
